"The Balmacara hotel was a great place to stay near the Isle of Skye. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great and the restaurants supper choices were very good. Would recommend as a place to stay."

"Had a lovely stay at the motel which is in a beautiful serene location, only wished we had stayed longer. Lovely cosy and extremely clean rooms with self catering facilities. We availed of the restaurant at the inn for dinner and breakfast - would highly recommend. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Will stay again when we go back to the highlands"

"Good location. Clean and comfortable. A bit lacking in character inside but useful overnight stop while driving the NC500. If you want to use the restaurant best to book. Also check the hours of cafe opening suit you. Dog friendly."

"Lovely place to stay. Our hosts were warm and charming. Enjoyed sitting on the back patio nd enjoying the view. Appreciated the small items, beverages and snacks for purchase. We did purchase a bottle of wine and enjoyed it on the back patio."
