โWe were just passing through and needed a bed for the night, and the Three Kings was in the right place and what we were hoping to pay (school holidays).
The Three Kings was much better than expected, great bed, good shower with a bar next door that served good food.
Added to my favourates and will stay again.โ
โA little gem in the country side, lovely clean rooms with modern air con, excellent breakfast with good quality ingredients and a spacious beer garden with very reasonable drink pricesโ
โMade to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.โ
โDinner was delicious! Bed was super comfortable and staff were so friendly and helpful... even gave us a small jug of fresh milk for our room.
Suggestion: would have been nice if there were some board games/cards in the pub to pass our time. There was a dart board but tables were infront of it. But overall, lovely stay and would definately stay again! โ
โOur stay at the old windmill was excellent the food was great and very delicious. Our room was comfortable and very clean,
The Old Windmill was warm and very friendly.
Would definitely be returning.

โLots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that youโd expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. โ
โAfter returning to the area after 16 years, we chose this hotel for the personal touch over other chain options. The hotel's staff was amazing and accomodating. They provided great service and every meal was delicious. The Thomas Paine Museum was of special interest and full of information for this history buff. We cant wait to book our next trip.โ
โBoth the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room.
They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator.
The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh.โ
