The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again.”

“The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend.”

“I would stay again but its no good for those who work and need Breakfast. I didn't have B/Fast because it would make me late for work. B/Fasts need to start at 0700 hrs not at 0800 as it doesn't allow for normal day workers.”

“Lovely, clean room, friendly staff and a good breakfast. I would definitely recommend the Glengower to solo travellers. It is a beautiful location on the sea front. I will stay there again in the future.”

“The location was great with a lovely sea view. All the staff were pleasant especially Josh who helped with bags . My only complaint is the standard of the room. It's very dated and needs TLC . Plaster falling off some of the walls. No bedside tables. Old shower curtain. Also breakfast was extra. We spoke with other people who was staying at another hotel cheaper rate with breakfast included. I wouldn't book again.”

“The first room was up 4 flights of stairs which was difficult having COPD the central heating was permanently on and couldn't turn it off, it made a racket all night stopped us sleeping, they eventually moved us to a bungalow which was much better but the hot water was boiling hot and could be very dangerous for children . There was NO restaurant or bar which was advertised . it was self catering but no shop to buy food and the internet on for 4 days Not impressed and would not recommend”

“The accommodation itself was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, the building itself needed a bit of care in places but because this is a community owned building the money is needed for other things like the rooms which have been done. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. “Nice comfy room with a sea view, comfortable bed, super friendly staff, a nice pub and good breakfast in a great location. Also parking was free :) there were just minor things to improve - the door handle in the bathroom was loose as well as the temperature setting in the shower. Also internet was unstable so if you wanna stream something, its almost impossible. We had room 12 on the third floor, which we didnt mind, but consider if youre older or require accessibility :-)”
