"We have been coming to Schroon Lake every year for over 40 years. This was our first stay at the Maple Leaf Motel. We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were perfect for our stay. Upon arrival, we used a code to get into the motel. The room was stocked with water and snacks, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and the two queen sized beds were comfortable. Although the motel is located off the main road, we were not disturbed by traffic, and the temperature in the room was comfortable. Our room had a microwave and small refrigerator, but my daughter also had a room next to ours and it had a full kitchen area, so some rooms are different than others. The location was conveniently located just outside of the main town area, just north of the marina. "

"Property looked nice but there is some false advertising. We booked a room with "lake view" but got a room with view to a wall and the street. When asked, was told that "they did not have another room at that price". The room was very comfortable and nice. But cleaning needs improvement. The towels did not smell fresh, in fact, I wondered what kind of soap they use because the bath towels were clean, but smelled awful."

"The look view room was nice to have with sectional and small fridge. The continental breakfast had decent choices. Unfortunately the pool was closed and had been for 6 months. That was disappointing and would have been nice to know ahead of time. It should have been noted or at least not highlighted on the web site. It was one of the reasons we chose the hotel."
