"Riad Andalla Spa was fantastic. The staff couldn't have been warmer or more helpful. The place itself is beautiful, and a real haven from the busyness of the streets outside. It is also brilliantly located in the Medina, just a short walk to Jamaa El Fna, and the surrounding Souk. We loved it!"

"Riad is lovely inside and the staff are attentive and friendly. It is to the north of the medina, which is a reasonable walk to the sights, and is closer to neighbourhood shops that are used by local people. This means it is very loud at night - we stayed in the room at the top front of the Riad and visited over Ramadan (so late night activity is expected and reasonable) and although we are heavy sleepers, we barely slept the first night due to constant motorbike noises, children in the street outside, general shouting and talking and then the call to prayer beginning. You can use the air conditioning unit to cover some of the noise but unfortunately this rattles loudly which is also difficult to sleep with. We would really recommend that the Riad put some heavy curtains in the room, potentially some form of sound insulation against the wooden windows and a thicker rug as the noise echoes in the room. It was a shame it was noisy because the staff were so kind and friendly and did check to see if they could swap our room to help us sleep. "

"The riad was clean ,staff where so friendly , position of the riad was excellent you could walk to most places , in a very busy area but did not here much noise at night , plenty of cafes ,resturants nearby, did not find a bar . Right in the heart of Marakesh"

"This was a lovely Riad experience with amazing decor. There was a very warm welcome from the staff, tea on the roof terrace at arrival was lovely. Very well kept and plenty of relaxing areas to take in the experience. The location is great, so close to the main square yet a bit of peace. It's also really easy to navigate around from there. I slept well and some really nice Moroccan touches in the room. The airport transfer service was also super smooth. "

"I loved my stay at the riad. Staff was really nice and professional, the place is beautiful, nicely decorated and with a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. It is slightly difficult to find, across the street from the mosque you will notice a narrow alley in between buildings. It looks a bit shady but it is safe, at the end of the alley turn right and you will see the riad entry."

"Overall a pretty to look at property, but experience suffered from a dominating bad smell from the nearby tannery, zero sound proofing in the bedrooms (even with ear plugs we were awakened many times), and a horrible customer service experience with our departure causing us to miss our train out of Marrakech with little apology or urgency from the staff. At check in we reserved a car to the train station for the next day at 10:40 for our 11:35 train for 250 MAD. At checkout we were there early to close our bill and wait for the planned driver to pick us up, then the man working reception said that the man working the night before had not actually booked our car. While we had a time buffer, he said he would call a new car to arrive in 30 minutes to get to train, and asked about alternate ways to get there and he told us to wait. Over 30 minutes later, no car arrived and he finally walked us to the taxi stand outside of the Medina (5 minute walk, very close) to hail a normal cab that cost 50 MAD, and we still missed our train. Had we known that was an option, we would have just left initially to catch a cab no problem and made our train, but the receptionist told us to wait. Property is very pretty true to pictures, and food was fine, but also location was not great for exploring Medina and souks. We have stayed at other Riads in Marrakech and love the bustling old town - would recommend you go elsewhere to experience it better."

"In the heart of Medina (old town). A 20 minute walk to Jena’s el-Fnaa. Only a 6 minute walk to Bab Aylan as a close/main pickup location for the tours & excursions. The Riad staff was very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfasts were delicious. I would recommend that the guests book their transportation to/from the airport through the Riad. They facilitate the process and provide you with someone to haul your luggage and guide you to the Riad. The streets are a maze and it can be confusing & daunting to locate the Riad on your own."

"Riad Houdou is truly stunning. every detail is to be admired - from the beautifully tiled floors to the pretty ceilings. It is one of the most special places I have ever stayed, made it even better by all the wonderful staff and hosts. I hope to come back one day and will recommend it to anyone coming to Marrakesh "
