Everything was even better than expected. Lovely accommodation, friendly staff and great facilities.

“The Braemar Youth hostel might be the most charming and lovely hostel I’ve stayed at. The location is peaceful and the facility itself is comfortable and cozy. This hostel has a great lounge, large kitchen with all the essential utensils, and the staff are so accommodating and pleasant. ”
““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””

“The stairs were a little tough but staff took our luggage up and down. There was no air conditioning but the air outside was cool enough to bring the room temperature down with the windows open. The place was charming with a beautiful setting. It was very enjoyable!”

“A long established grand hotel, which although a little tired, is very well presented and room was really clean and spacious Staff were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. You felt their genuine desire that they wanted you to enjoy your stay. Food was exceptionally good, both dinner and at breakfast. With a wide range of choices it was all too easy to over-indulge. Best Sticky Toffee pud we have had. ”

Harry the barman was excellent and proved knowledgeable about the whiskies available.”
“hidden gem; easy walk down to adorable town, gorgeous old renovated mansion with high quality interior spaces...and lots of different common rooms to enjoy. Croquet on the lawn was idyllic. welcome drink in beautiful garden room or outdoor patio. 5 star accommodations for this boutique beauty!”
