“We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. “Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.”

“The Old Mill is in a very old building with steep and narrow stairs which makes it hard to carry luggage. The hotel sits above a pub which can be noisy. However, the pub closes at 10:30 pm. We enjoyed our stay. The food in the pub was excellent. We also enjoyed the walk from the pub to downtown Salisbury on a country/city path. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.”
