Berkeley, Oakland hotel rooms at the Extended Stay America

"The staff was really nice, but the room wasn’t the best. The closet had a really weird smell that got on our clothes and some of the towels were not clean. The location was good, next to city hall but also to some sketchy neighborhoods."

"LOCATION, lLOCATION, LOCATION! We stayed here for the convenience of the location closest to tourist attractions and transportation. The complimentary breakfast is complete with hot and cold items, juice and fruits. The beds were so comfy too! The pool was too cold for winter. Will recommend to stay here. "

"Room was very clean and comfortable! The only downside was that we didn't get any towels to dry ourselves with. Other than that, the experience was great!"

"I love the location in the center of the city on Van Ness near California. For what you get the price is very reasonable. We received free parking which I don’t know if it’s normal but most hotels charge you $30-$80 per day to park. We were given a room on the 24th floor, which had a beautiful view of a large portion of San Francisco. The only downside is if you’re a light sleeper and your room is on the Van Ness side of the hotel there’s quite a bit of street noise. Even if you’re on the 24th floor, which is very near the top of the hotel. Overall the price of the room with free parking, including a breakfast and we ate out with family that morning, is a really good deal for a very solid hotel in a city full of expensive rooms."
