“Front desk faces Moonridge and is open until 5. Kameron was helpful. Parking spaces are not large, consider driving a medium SUV or a smaller vehicle when you stay here. Slow down; easy to overshoot the two entrances from Moonridge. I stayed in the Crabapple room that faced the main road. While I felt safe, I did not want to open the window due to road noise. No fridge, microwave, or closet in room. Attractive decor throughout; it looks a bit overwhelming on the photos but is quite relaxing....

“Bring extra towels, disposable cups, cleenex, if big family, extra roll of toilet paper. Property may need maintenance on ceptic tank, bad order coming from pipes.”

“The property was nice, clean, and had great amenities. The map was simple, as were all directions and there were many ways to get help with questions or requests. The keycard bands were a phenomenolly simple and handy system, and checkout was as easy as leaving the bands in the room and texting "checkout" to the staff. Best vacation spot in years!”

“Fabulous 3 night- 2 day stay. We arrived later than expected and found our key waiting for us. The cabin was so cute, clean, and well-appointed. Cool air at night through the screened windows and fan, and a quiet clientele respectful of the quiet hours. Charming center fireplace and table with candles in common area set such a lovely , restful atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool, free bikes, and free canoes. I read and rested in a Adirondack chair for hours uninterrupted and watched the ducks...

“I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken.”
