“The front desk employee was helpful, after we walked off the elevator it smelled awful, like poop diapers were stuffed in the garbage can that was filled to the top. Our room smelt like musty and the A/C had black mold. The front desk employee could not give us another room, but he came up and cleaned off the A/C unit and then bombed the room with an OZO Oder spray…I was dizzy from the smell so we left for a few hours and only went back to sleep and left at 8am. “I liked the location close to the beach and restaurants. The pool was decent. The breakfast was small stuff like muffins no eggs, grits, or sausage patties. No gym on site. Not bad at all for the price.”

“Our stay here went well. When checking in, I thought the staff was slow and a little rude but maybe it was just the day because they were great for the rest of our stay. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when the name of the hotel is Beachside, I expected it to be just that. It was not right on the Beach, We had to cross a busy road to get to the beach. It was a short walk to the beach though and we did enjoy our stay.”

We had to wait for the staff at front desk when arrived for about 10 minutes before checked us in, tried to make tea with the hot water in lobby and tea bags provided, but the water was not hot must have been sitting so long it was never checked on and was cold so threw that away. Only 1 of the 2 elevators worked and had backups waiting for it a few times and had to squeeze it full of people since it was constantly full from only have one working. Everything else...
