“First time at this hotel, staying for one night. A quick visit to Tiverton on the way home from a few days in Bideford to see the Grand Western Canal and assess the potential for a future longer visit. Overall, facilities, food and staff excellent, decor a little tired. Free parking on site a major advantage. Room comfortable, but no USB ports provided to charge phones etc. However, will definitely consider coming back at a later date. ”

“The room was very clean and the location very quiet. We were travelling for an event and had to get up very early so missed out on the breakfast. The room was perfect for what we needed, the bed comfortable and we slept well. It was great value for money and we would stay here again.”

The only negative was the car parking. None available on site and not able to drive up to hotel so we had to bring all our luggage from a neighbouring public car park.
