"Everything was excellent! All of the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and attentive. We used the bar, restaurant, reception, and spa. We stayed in two rooms both were very nice rooms and very clean and comfortable. The bar was very cosy with a fabulous log fire and the service was excellent. The food was very good in the bar and the restaurant. The pool and facilities were very clean and warm. All in all a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend and return. "

"The total experience from arrival to departure was made extremely enjoyable by the interactions with the hotel team. From reception to bar and dining room staff, everything was just as I expected from a hotel of this standard. High standard of cleanliness of the room, good facilities, with a very comfortable bed. "Communal areas in the hotel were stylish, comfortable and immaculately kept. Staff are an asset, absolutely every single one of them appeared to want to be there and make your stay as special as possible. Breakfast was lovely, great choice, local produce and all freshly prepared. We stayed in a "Cosy Double" - room 10 - we knew it would be small (and it really was) so I can't really complain about that but I have to say it wasn't very well kept. There was a horrid smell of bleach which didn't really go the whole 2 nights we were there and the furnishings felt tired and grubby - the carpet was stained and the vanity chair was so stained we actually removed it from the room. This said, we would 100% stay at the hotel again, but would choose a different room."

"Great vegan options, vegan milks out without needing to ask and really appreciated the coconut milk overnight oats! Fantastic options and lots of variety and pastries on offer. Amazing staff too- all so friendly and welcoming"
