“Basic old Inn with reasonable facilities and ok meals”

“Lovely room with great bathroom. A bath and separate shower was a treat. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. WiFi was good and nice decor. Staff were pleasant and was lovely to be able to converse Welsh. Location was handy for lots of places to visit. Defo hope to be back”

“The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Devil's Bridge and the surrounding area. We visited the Elan Valley dams and reservoirs, the Silver Mountain and Aberystwyth. The Hotel looks stunning from the outside and inside. A lot of care has gone into every detail of the hotel. Our room was on the top floor. It was very cool and quirky, just a little bit musty smelling. (We couldn't open the windows without a load of bugs flying in so had to keep them closed unfortunately.) The bathroom...

“Everything perfect, only thing for me on the day would be a slightly earlier breakfast, maybe 7.30 to get up the mountain earlier but that’s personal preference. Thank you for keeping my sandwiches fresh in the fridge.”

“Breakfast very good, room nice size, good bed, nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Only problem, extractor fan from neighbouring restaurant, but nothing they can do about that. Keep window closed and the a/c works fine. All in all, nice place.”

“The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from”

“The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one...
