โThe hotel is in a great location. I came down for the great north run and it had great options for food in the immediate vicinity. Where i parked was only a 10 minute walk away. The hotel itself is lovely. Lobby area is beautiful and i found the rooms comfortable and not too hot. I can never sleep the night before i run an event but when i did get to sleep it was a pleasant nights sleep. โFantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. We struggled to keep the room cool, but we loved the big bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic too. Scenery amazing. Would definitely stay againโ
