"I stayed for four nights. I asked to have my room cleaned midway(housekeeping must be requested a day in advance). I asked if it was possible to have the cleaning done at a specific time and was told yes. It was scheduled for 1p. I scheduled my day so that I would be out of the room from 1p-3p. When I returned, the room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk. They said they had no control over when the room would be cleaned. I wish they hadn’t said the cleaning could be scheduled at a specific time. If they had, I would have waited until the cleaning person arrived and then left the room. On the third day I had a question about how best to receive a food delivery. I called the front desk. After several rings someone answered and asked if it was okay if he put me on a brief hold. After a few minutes the call was disconnected and I received a dial tone. I called back. This time he asked if he could put me on a brief hold or better yet, if he could call me back. I said okay. I never received a call back. Lastly, upon initial check-in, around 2:15p, as I was handed the room key, the front desk person said, okay, you’re all set, and although there is a $40 early arrival fee if one arrives before 4p, he wasn’t going to charge me. It was clearly an overt effort to highlight that he was taking good care of me, it however came off badly, as just, I don’t know, disingenuous."
