โWe loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations.โ
โA really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. โI had a wonderful stay at the Bull. The place itself is beautiful and the meals were delicious. The staff were so welcoming and friendly as well. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would be delighted to stay there again when Iโm in the area. โ
โVery nice hotel within walking distance to the station and shops. Room was on the small side but comfortable bed and very clean and quiet. Staff were all helpful and very polite. Would definitely stay here again if I needed a hotel for a night.โ
