“They offer you candy when checking in. I must have looked at a different place to stay and accepted this one by mistake. Expedia had us wanting a smoking room? The room was clean but had a strange smell. It has only a space heater for heat. It is supposed to drop in the teens tonight. There is a unit in it that is supposed to be a heat/air conditioner that does not heat. Was charged $150.00 deposit incase we smoked in the room or for incidentals. Which we had no idea about! “Awesome historical inn. The rooms were filled with antiques and the history was wonderful. We were on the 3rd floor, next to the main street, which was pretty loud in our room, though we were so tired each evening, it didn't affect our sleeping. There is only a elevator to the 2nd floor, so you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. We ate at the restaurant both nights, outdoor seating was great, and so was the food! Highly recommend this lovely...

“Breakfast was nothing special. Room was decent but was not a fan or the bathroom. Shower/toilet felt like the size of an airplane bathroom. Desk staff were very nice and helpful. ”

“The property was welcoming to pets. We stayed in a first floor room which helped alot. The property abd rooms are very run down. Everything needs to be replaced from carpeting to fridges. The room was stained the moldings pulling away from the walll, the lock was broken in two....on top of that the layout is really cramped The vanity is separated from the toilet , and blocks the entry path and tbere is not enough room for two adults. “The floor in the broom was extremely dirty. He needed at least three mops to get it clean. They were cockroaches coming from the backboard of the bed on the walls on the kitchen stove and on the microwave. Unless you are extremely tight on a budget, I would not recommend this hotel.”
