โWe stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. We were totally satisfied and I strongly recommend this place.โ
โFantastisk ophold i rolige, smukke omgivelser. Pรฅ alle mรฅder en positiv oplevelse. Personalet var venlige og hjรฆlpsomme, spabadene skรธnne, maden lรฆkker og vรฆrelserne dejlige. Kommer meget gerne igen.โ
โThe building is very old, but you can feel the effort put into keeping it clean and tidy. The staff provided polite and attentive service without being overbearing. Above all, the hot spring is wonderful. The bath on the first floor was too hot for me, so I used the one on the fifth floor instead, and enjoyed a refreshing soak in the morning. The quality of the water is undoubtedly among the best in Japan.
This place is not for those expecting the hospitality of a luxury hotel or clean,...
โA really old-fashioned Japanese onsen experience like nothing else. We ate in the Japanese restaurant one night and French the other evening. The food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. We hiked to the ridge (5 hours return) through a beautiful forest.โ
โI donโt believe this accommodation justify the cost if you will stay at this property without dinner and breakfast. I was able to reduce the expense for a night to c. $55 by using Expedia credits equal to $30, but if I didnโt have it, I would recommend to stay another one.
Far from the center of Matsumoto
Nothing was around the property
Nothing would be provided to kids, such as amenities, welcoming tea and snacks, basically.
The only nicer point was hot spring with good sceneโ
