"Solo traveler, one night, Summer (July) stay. Beaver Run is a large resort complex that provides a more self-contained, turn-key vacation experience. My short stay limited my chance to personally experience the on-site amenities but I did tour most of the property. For adults and kids alike, there is plenty of things to do from the pool, hot tubs, and the games arcade room. I stayed in one of the studio apts that was nice sized living space, very clean and well appointed. The suite included a very comfy queen bed that was separated from the living space by the bathroom and kitchenette area. The living area space was nice size and included the sofa bed for additional sleeping area. The kitchen included a coffeemaker, cook top, microwave, mini fridge, sink and dishwasher, and was stocked with dining set, utensils and basic cookware.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with some questions I had about the resort. The resort location is a bit further from the main street area but certainly walkable if desired, or plenty of transportation options either from the on-route Breckenridge free ride buses or the provided on-demand shuttles provided by the resort. Of course during the winter ski season it boasts the chair lift right on property as well.
My only knock to be critical, is that as a large apartment building structure without air conditioning (it is a winter ski resort after all), it is difficult to get some outdoor air into the apartment for natural cooling. Just FYI."
