“I arrived at thia property on the Saturday evening at 5pm. There was a note at reception saying latw arrivals were to call a number. I wouldn't call 5pm a late arrival seeing as checkin was only from 3pm. I called the number a few times but the reception was bad. I finally spoke to someone who asked if i had a booking for bowling or the lodge. When I confirmed it was the lodge, a sour faced man appeared from the bar area. This mans demeanour had me feeling that I had interrupted him from...

“The view from the room was fabulous! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay! There are plenty of common spaces inside and outside to spend some time relaxing”

“Sheets were clean and I appreciated the basic amenities and private bathroom. Definitely a very small room, though - I had to shuffle sideways to get from the door past the foot of the bed. Might also have a mold or dust issue. I was sneezing a lot every time I laid down, which resolved when I left. Not terrible, but cramped, and I'd probably stay somewhere else next time.”

Breakfast was just incredible, great options, prepared with great care with an eye on quality and local produce. “Everything is nearby. Quiet place to stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Nice seaside and less than 5 minutes walk. Typical coastal town and many places to visit around. ”
