"I initially booked one night in a two-queen suite via Hotels.com. The following evening, I called at 9 PM to extend my stay. Though my original room wasn’t available, the receptionist assured me that I could move rooms the next day and that I could stay in my current room until the new one was ready—no need to leave the hotel. The next day, the receptionist on duty (the manager) denied this arrangement ever existed, and I was told to leave. Only after I insisted they confirm with the previous staff did they ‘let it slip this time,’ implying I was being dishonest. I felt disrespected and let down by the inconsistency in service and tone.
The second room I booked was an ocean view only to find it out it was partial ocean view and my request to change the room was denied by the same manager.
I would have expected more professionalism and accommodation from a hotel manager!
Breakfast options are basic, prepackaged pastries were disappointing. "
