“Well maintained and in a great location. Staff were really friendly and provided good local knowledge to enhance our stay. The breakfast was first class and available until late morning. Staff offered to hold luggage on our last day at no additional cost which was a nice touch. Has a beer garden which is lit up at night and a good selection of beers/cider and wine etc. Would definitely visit again!”

“My wife and I had a wonderful three night stay to celebrate her birthday. We loved everything about the hotel and its location and staff. Minor niggles with water temperature in the bathroom can be forgiven. Planning to be back in the future.”

“The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite.”

“overall the accommodation and staff were good and the grounds and location was very pleasant. However, on the Saturday evening we arrived back to the room at 8.30 pm to find in the garden a bbq, loads of people and very very loud music. We could not sleep, read or listen to the Tv and the music stopped at 11:59. Really spoiled our stay”

“This property has a great location, at a reasonable price. My room was at the very top of the house, in the eves, so a sloping ceiling. It has an en suite shower room. Room was clean but could do with an update. Good coffee/tea making facilities with kettle, microwave and mini fridge, as well as lots of snacks provided.”
