“Great staff and clean cottage. Needs some paint on the outside. Beautiful area and wonderful trail. We never used amenities like the pool and hot tub as this was only a one night stay. Beds were really comfy and the night was blissfully quiet.”

“Cabin is styled texas style and the neighborhood has authentic, safe, and a friendly feel.. The room was clean and spacious even though it needs some updating. Free parking right in front. The foam bed was a bit too soft for us but large and a good assortment of pillows. Coffee maker was nice. Enjoyed the walkability of the neighborhood— restaurants, stores and bars were great! Didn’t stay long enough to try out the firepit and other amenities. Definitely would stay again!”

“This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.”

“The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

“My family and I had the best time! The host was very informative, helpful and generous! The homes were clean, well maintained and provided us the freedom and security we hoped to have! The property is absolutely beautiful! There was 8 of us that stayed at the property and there was more than enough room for all of us and our 2 small dogs! My teenage boys loved the game room and it provided us with enough entertainment that we didn’t even have to leave the property if we didn’t want to! We will...
