“Dining room ok .our bedroom terrible filthy carpet.loose wallpaper ceiling was patched Complained to reception got another room which was better but would be no good for a weeks stay. No drawers, big bench like thing to close to bed, curtains had obviously been taken from a downstairs room as they were hanging with at least 1metre on the floor. very dissatisfied and would not go there again overpriced”

“Stayed four nights at Iris hotel with my 6 year old twin grandsons. Room was fine clean and tidy only thing short was a plug for the bath but not a big problem was a shower too. Ideal location close to all attractions. The breakfast was buffet style continental. I do not always eat breakfast but suited the boys they had cereal, toast or pancakes. We were at the back of the hotel it was quiet at night. Saw 2 of the front sea view rooms they were big and great views and looked very nice.”

“Hotel in an excellent position, close to both the beach and town centre. Staff were very helpful at check in and so were the cleaning crew. There is no parking attached to the hotel but it can be found easily enough. Room had a sea view which was lovely, however it could do with a little redecoration. Good stay though.”

“Extremely disappointed, ruined what was meant to be a special event for my mother 90 years old. The room was in choking state of poor cleanliness. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, walls , sink and even on the Courtain and the balcony area. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable to be in. The breakfast was terrible, completely greasy and unappealing. For a place that should be like a treat, this place ruined my special special occasion for my mother 90 years old I have taken photos of...

“Stayed 1 night with my husband and 6 year old daughter. Lovely clean hotel Poilte staff Nothing is too much for them. I asked for an iron and hairdryer, within minutes it was at my door!!! Nice touch with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits. Very close to all local amenities Shame they were fully booked or I would have stayed another night.”

“The hotel and the owners were superb. We were on second floor which meant quite a few stairs to climb but the owners moved us down a floor the day after arrival to a much larger room with a lovely sea view and of course fewer stairs. The breakfast were first class. My husbands full English was “the best” he said and my fresh fruit was delicious with so many different varieties of fruit you couldn’t count them. Nothing was too much trouble for owners and they were so welcoming and delightful....
