"Nice room, good breakfast, nice staff."

"Was not expecting to be staying in “the annexe” which was converted rooms above a row of shops with a door straight onto high street which wasn’t secured by other guests leaving so for a lone female traveller it wasn’t suitable or safe. The room was tiny with bed pushed against one wall, would be very snug as a double for two guests. The price was good, the place was clean so I’m not saying don’t use it but sadly the room was unused by me as I’d rather get a late train home than use it and sleep with one eye open."

"Stayed just for one night as part of a birthday trip for my daughter. Wanted to stay somewhere a little more interesting than the usual chain hotels and this absolutely fitted the bill. Spacious room, comfortable beds and no noise from other rooms. Breakfast buffet was very good with lovely views across the dock towards the O2. Would definitely stay here again."

"Most of Hotel staff were lovely and helpfull. Breakfast wasn't included so payed night before £12.50 instead of £19 pp. Racing bar very nice but are food order was messed up and took about 44 min for my pizza to turn up. Lovely pool with steam room and sauna"

"The hotel was lovely, superbly located, meters from Westgate. The problem was we were promised a room that would not overlook the parking lot. We came back 2 times, at 12:00 and 2:30, but they said the room was still not ready, that we had to wait till 3 o’clock. We had tickets to punt down the river at 3 so could not stay, but immediately upon finishing it returned to the hotel. To our surprise they then took us to a room that overlooked the parking lot! We asked to be changed and they took us to a tiny room that overlooked a small patio, that was right beside the communal terrace, so quite noisy. It was not what we had hoped for. Having said that, the room and bathroom were pretty and clean, the breakfast was good and the location superb."

"Room was a great size. Bed was super comfortable. Clean and tidy room, would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Facilities were good, but needed a good clean in the sauna and changing rooms. Breakfast was great, big variety of foods. Staff were friendly, hard working and helpful."
