“The classic room we booked was very tired and dated. The walls, especially around switchesX were marked, worn and grubby. The bathroom was especially bad, dusty, mouldy and generally needs a refurb - I felt dirty using it! The decoration, fixtures and fittings were extremely dated. The carpets were marked and stained. “I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. We arrived at 9:30pm and were given a room that was not suitable for a family, despite my prior request. When I raised this at reception, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that...

“The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again.”

“Excellent stay at this beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff are super attentive and friendly. Rooms are very quaint and have a lovely spa scent. The spa area although small was a lovely addition. The jacuzzi and massages by Estelle were very relaxing. We had a tasting menu and breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was all very well done. Overall great relaxing weekend getaway. We will be back again and would highly recommend.”

“Check-in was very good by Harriet, Chelsea took us to our room and explained all amenities. I am in a wheelchair and found ramps to all areas and the lift very good. We stayed for 2 nights and I received some sweets as it was my birthday. The hotel has its own secure car park with rising bollards at the entrance. Check-out was wonderful, by Aidan and Chelsea. We will stay again.”

“Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again,...

“Shower leaked ”

“The Mill Hotel is in an excellent position, overlooking the mill pond and adjoining common. There is ample parking nearby and it is just a short walk into the lovely town of Sudbury. There is an attractive restaurant and bar, with feature water wheel, and the food was good. The rooms were well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there's no lift, which would have caused me problems if my room had been on an upper floor.”

“The hole stay was horrendous from staff to room I would not recommend cob webs hair in shower Staff were really unhelpful my experience was not good compared to other places Iv stay in Felixstowe the only part what was the price however i understand why now poorly maintained”
