“Poor quality rooms. Bathroom doors are rotten and carpets are stained. Room 206 had a smell similar to a public hospital. The beds are soft and over used.”

“The hotel suffers an identity crisis. It positions itself as holiday resort but is actually mode a conference/events centre. Very noisy and not so classy neighbours disturbed our afternoon rest as well as late night sleep. I pity anyone who thought they could relax there in the evening because there were two noisy disco booming functions till midnight. The old world charm is no longer for this destination.”

“A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.”

“Pure Bliss, this is an amazing location. The silence and nature is perfect just to get away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is also very welcoming making sure there is enough wood and making sure our stay was amazing. The Hot tub is amazing and overlooks the forest. So cosy and relaxing. Its also only 1.30min from Cape Town.”

“Very nice spot with a nice view. Rooms are very clean and in good shape. The owners are very nice and flexibel. Only remark that the pool wasn’t clean at all and the restaurant was temporary closed. If this is open it is a perfect Place to stay. ”

“Tolle Unterkunft! Blitzsauber und sehr nettes Personal! Wir haben in unserer Konstellation mit Baby die Einrichtung zwar nicht voll ausgenutzt (kein Biken, aber für die, die es können - top!), aber haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.”
