“Nice hotel”

“Room was clean but they did not clean it while I was there for three nights.”

“Relatively new property - very clean and spacious. The room was utilitarian - kitchenette, bathroom, small eating area. No seating area other than a single chair, so the bed was the default for seating. Bed was comfortable and the large television was nice. The room was too light at night - needed room darkening drapes, and there was no way to turn off (or down) the bathroom's automatic light. Check in was delayed as there were no staff available for about 10 minutes. Location worked well...

“We did not stay. The room was very gross. Bedding was stained, there were hairs in the bed on the sheets, the door was broken and we did not feel safe. The outside of the toilet was dirty. We immediately left.”

“During the college graduation season, hotel rates were unreasonably high. While I understand that prices can go up during peak seasons, this was a rural hotel, and the rates felt unjustified. The staff were friendly and kind, but the condition of the hotel was disappointing— the bathroom fan didn’t work, and the drain was clogged. “This place should not even be open for business. Shame on Expedia for even allowing it on their site! If it wasn’t so late I would have gone somewhere else. The place is in complete disrepair, they do claim to be “under renovation” but I highly doubt it, it’s more like a demo project. The floors are soft in places and I kept praying we wouldn’t fall through. The smoke detector was missing, the door to the room had a considerable gap even when closed. “This hotel has an active cockroach problem. Nicotine rums on walls as well as heavy odor. Smoke and stench. Also had unclean bedding. LARGE stains on sheets.”

Most of the staff was friendly, but one of them always seemed confused and when I asked for anything, she looked at me with a puzzled look on her face. “Staff was great and helpful. The actual room was terrible and dirty. I don't think it was really the staff's fault. Management needs to get their act together and they need to hire better housekeeping, or hire housekeeping period. There were giant roaches (?) in my room. I wasn't expecting much for a Studio 6—I am no stranger to a motel—but this is abysmal. Don't book here.”
