“We were in the area for a wedding and stayed a few extra days at The Amelia. We loved the hotel and had a huge 1 bedroom suite on the top floor. It felt like staying in someone’s personal home. The hotel is extremely clean and our room was kept tidy daily. There is a small kitchen area stocked with coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. “The staff during day and morning were pleasant and very apologetic for the issues we came across. We showed up at 6 pm and room was not ready. We went out to eat and when we got back the room was ready. At 9 pm we had to message the staff about what sounded like pregnant cow that was walking above us. Soon after it stopped. “Highly recommend! We had our honeymoon here and it was a very beautiful historic building, very clean, and a very well-decorated room. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom, and spacious; true to the photos. The staff were very warm and welcoming and quickly responsive. “The room was clean and nicely decorated. There is no staff on the property, but were reachable via text. There were snacks in the kitchen and a fridge to store a few things in. The parking is limited & inconvenient, having to move our car from one side of the street to another to adhere to odd/even days. We enjoyed the outdoor space.”
