"I enjoyed the hotel. It is along the river and, as such, a beautiful place to stay. The hotel is also accessible to cars without 'inner city' permits, making it easy to visit if you are driving in. The rooftop is beyond gorgeous to sit at for a drink or a meal. The rooms are small but clean and well attended to. I appreciated the eco-aspects of the hotel. Sustainability seems to be a focus of theirs."

"First we were told that we were upgraded for free to a room with a view of the River and of Ponte Vecchio. That was already a win!!! The view from the hotel room was so so beautiful. The staff were super friendly and polite and professional. The next best thing about the hotel is the buffet breakfast spread! Of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, this hotel had the best breakfast spread and the food was great quality. We especially enjoyed the variety of pastries that were nicer than those cafes...

"A traditional Italian hotel. Lots of dark wood. Staff very friendly. Breakfast view of the Duomo is stunning. Fair buffet breakfast. Roof top terrace bar. Not quite enough staff. Brilliant shower, always loads of hot water. WiFi is virtually non existent. They know this and nothing is done. Weirdly our European adapter that we’ve used all over Europe wouldn’t fit, we bought another one. Great location. You are near everywhere. We arrived by train from Pisa and it’s an easy underground walk to...

"From the friendly staff that greeted us at check in, to them facilitating an early check in to their continued hospitality throughout, I have to say that the staff made this trip to Florence really enjoyable. The location right next to Port Vecchio is hard to beat. The room we had was clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was awesome. Great experience overall. "
