“Over the last year, I’ve stayed at all the hotels in this little Coralville complex, and this one is my fave! I’m a hotel snob and hard to please when it comes to hotel rooms, and this one was pleasing in all the ways that are important to me. Nice decor and a space that makes sense, comfy beds with crisp, clean sheets that actually fit the bed, pillow and mattress protectors, tables on both sides of the beds with plugs and USB’s, newish clean shower with a clean brand of toiletries.

“Just passing thru so we only stayed one night. Only two things that weren't perfect. The ac only had high or off. So freeze or sweat to death. Also thin walls & a fighting couple next door. Not the hotels fault tho”

“We loved our stay. From the outside the hotel looks run down and not operational but once inside it is gorgeous. The staff were so nice and shared the history of the building. Beautiful old hotel from 1870. Each room is decorated differently. The staircase defines grand. Bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet. We will be back for sure. ”
