“It's very nice experience to stay there”

“The room was spacious and very clean ! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony. We also LOVED the pool ! It was such a nice place to relax. Great location (10minutes walking distance to the city center). Staff was also very nice and accommodating. Only reason why I did not give a 5 stars overall is because the free breakfast was below average. But would 100% come back !”

My room was very rough around the edges, some holes in the walls, dents and missing pieces of trim, one electrical outlet was uncovered with exposed wires, some mildew in the tub, grunge around windows. “Had the fillet mignon for dinner here and a few days after at the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid. The Stowe Village Inn steak was far and away, indescribably better.”

“I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!”

“The outdoor pool was large and heated, this was a highlight of our stay, hot tub was great as well. Breakfast was very limited to our surprise, we expected more options. No scrambled eggs or fried potatoes. Got charged around $40 (facility fees), something to be aware of. Location is great, very easy to get to main sightseeing, shops and restaurants.”

“It was very cute however there was a few misconceptions shown online. For one there wasn’t any indication it was right off the road. The pictures online show it to be tucked in the woods. I also was confused when I checked in to realize we weren’t staying the in the cabin we were staying in a motel room. The pictures all showed a cabin.
