We had 3 adults staying there. It was advertised for 3 adults, however, the futon foldout was only big enough for a kid. We took pictures of our adult kids and their heads went over the futon. However. After complaining, the owners dropped off a double/queen blow up mattress, about the 3 day into the stay, meanwhile one of the kids had to move into our room.
So, bad news, the room was not set up for 3 adults, but good news after days of complaining, the bed was corrected.

I requested specifically for ocean view room. What I got was a partial ocean view and so far away from elevator. I tried to talk to the hotel, but I was told nothing they can do as I used Expedia for booking.

This is a old hotel. Whenever you ask in the AI apps this hotel gets recommended. I should have picked Four seasons.
This is an awful hotel. We got the highest room thanks to Expedia. But apart from check in when Expedia automatically gave us an upgrade the rest of the stay was awful.
Where do I begin
1) The carpets are worn out like ancient, frayed and discolored.
2) we got the beach side room. Which was okay but the shower feels like a 1000 gallons are being sprayed on you. The way to reach these rooms is half a mile long from where you enter the hotel. Ridiculous
3) there are two dolphins in captivity for some sad reason.
4) the concierge did not book half of the things we asked for. We emailed them and they confirmed booking them. But to our surprise none of the things we asked for were booked.
5) Concierge charged us double for the Luau dance. It was our mistake we got so frustrated that we asked for a fancy Luau and they gave us a god awful Luau
6) all the restaurants were terrible bar one.
7) finally the reason I was prompted to write this review, the hotel staff are racists. Granted we are brown couple, but we both are doctors. So we were not being pesky or demanding. On our last day we went to the hotel beach. The guy made us wait 2 hours to get us the beach chairs. Whenever it was our turn to get beach chairs, this guy would go away by giving us some stupid reason.
This is not royalty as AI says or that Obama stayed here as if that matters
