“Good communication prior to arrival as we were arriving outside normal check-in hours. Clean and comfortable facilities gave us a great night's sleep. Very good breakfast served by a host who was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Only there for one night as on our way elsewhere but definitely a place to use if staying in Penrith.”

“Swivel on shower head was broken, so had to hold the shower head in order to shower. Everything else was fine. Good location, walking distance to everything. Friendly and attentive staff”

“We stayed for 3 nights and wished it could have been more. The hotel is in very good shape. Everything has been well thought out and the decor works seamlessly from reception to lounge, conservatory. Restaurant, corridors , landings and bedroom. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels and bedding. Lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly, pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent each breakfast and evening meal. The external seating areas worked well with well laid out patio and garden....
