“Constant noise and heavy fire doors banging until midnight, got woken up by people in the hallway leaving at 6am. The room had a green fire exit light that couldn’t turn off so the room was always lit up even with the other lights off. The lamp in the room was broken. Absolutely no soundproofing anywhere. Plenty of free parking though. Breakfast was included but not a great standard. Bathroom had paint peeling off the windowsills and the shower was slow to drain. There were shower amenities...

“My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.”

“Solo traveller, one night stop off. Camping hut for two (two single beds) which was warm and cosy. I'd have chosen a kettle over a TV but that's my preference. Stunning surroundings. 3 huts in one very large field so quiet. Excepting unfortunately the noise from the adjacent A road.. which runs alongside the site. Café/ bar on site (this is where reception is) comfy, friendly, good breakfast, views overlooking the pond. Facilities numerous. A good site for families I'd say.”
