"The room was nicely clean upon arrival. The unfortunate part was our room smelled like old stale cigarettes. We were unable to be moved due to full capacity. The pool was fun, nice and very cold. The room was spacious and comfortable. No complaints except for the smell, sadly. The bed was nice and bathrooms were good. The breakfast was good. The front desk clerks did not give exceptional service but they were okay. Parking was easy. There is free wifi."

"We had a really enjoyable stay at The Academy Hotel. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location made it easy to get around Colorado Springs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the indoor courtyard gave the hotel a unique, relaxing atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast was good, but it could have used a little more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days. That was really our only complaint. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and we’d definitely consider staying here again."
