"Rooms was perfect, lovely breakfasts cooked to order which is better than any buffet. Grey street fantastic location first class."

"Hotel was lovely friendly staff but the food was awful. Evening meal very disappointing, overcooked steak undercooked chips and a ceasar salad with no dressing or Parmesan cheese. For breakfast there was no bacon or sausage and the buffet was not restocked for a good 10 mins. I would stay at the hotel again but would eat elsewhere."

"Reception staff quick & helpful. Room clean & spacious. Tea/Coffee/Kettle provided along with a microwave & fridge. Noisy music from NUFC bar opposite until early hours. Get a room at the back to avoid this. Good breakfast choice but pricey at £19."

"No shops or restaurants/amenities close by, chose hotel for proximity to Glasshouse, which was excellent, 3 minutes walk. Although you can walk down over the millennium bridge very close to the Glasshouse to riverside pubs and restaurants. Took 30 minutes to walk back from central Newcastle city centre "

"Hotel is lovely. Convenient location. Staff really helpful. We stayed on a Friday night and we were concerned it might be noisy bu we had no issues at all. Only surprise was the shower arrangement in our twin room… the shower is actually in the bedroom, with opaque screens, however theres no where inside the cubicle to put your towel or remove your clothes without getting them wet. No problem for couples, but any exoected twist when you’re away with friends! "
