โThe hotel is lovely. By their own admission the owners have a notice saying excuse us whilst we renovate. The lodge was fine, we didnโt really notice it wanted much done. The car park was plenty, the room was spacious and comfy. Great views out the back. Convenient for the area, we really liked it. โ
โReally nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.โ
โWe stay here all the time and we live in CT. A DnD right down the street, Big Y right across the street. Always quiet even though itโs right off the highway (exit 66 on I-95). People are pleasant.โ

The only small negatives were the TV was mounted at an angle and the bathroom countertops were very lowโ
โMy boyfriend and I stayed at The Menhaden for my birthday, and it was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff incredible. The entire property was spotless โ especially our room, which was beautifully maintained and so comfortable. I had one of the best nights of sleep Iโve had in a long time. The location is perfect too, just a short walk to everything in town. I couldnโt recommend The Menhaden more. 10/10 experience. Thank you...
โThe property is excellent, although I think the bed is too high. The shower is fabulous, the climate control system is great. Breakfast was excellent.
My wife and I did not like the town, or the surrounding towns, but we did find really nice restaurants for dinners.โ

โLoved the pool. Especially the lap section. It had a great hip vibe, with soft jazz already playing on the tv. Very eclectic room, nicely appointed. Cozy bed. โ
โBeautiful property! View was awesome, nice beach with chairs. The room could use some updating, stove top was broken so our morning coffee was delayed as the burner was very slow to heat the water for our French press we travel with. The view from our room was peaceful however the barbecue area was in direct view and there was always garbage piled up and was not pleasant to see. Overall great stay! โ
โHad a wonderful time at Harbor Front Inn. Two small suggestions would make my retutn stay even more wonderful. Decafe needs to be hot. It was lukewarm every morning. Two more umbrellas around the pooL would be very welcome. These things are not enough to discourage us from returning.โ
