"I wish I could give this place more than five stars! Luxurious and peaceful, with very well appointed rooms and endless thoughtful amenities. Very kind hosts (the cats and the humans alike). My husband is allergic to cats and had no issues in the cat-free room, while I very much enjoyed visiting with the cats on the well decorated lanai’s and grounds. A magical stay from start to finish. Mahalo!"

"This is the best hotel that we have stayed at. The amenities, staff, rooms, the spa, the adult pool, the food, the beach…all 5 stars! Swam with manta rays and did the longest running luau that was well done. Have been coming here since the 80’s and it only keeps getting better. We love the Mauna Kea and the Big Island of Hawaii."
