“We had 2 large rooms for a family break. Hosts were very welcoming and went that extra mile to make us feel at home. Tasty vegan breakfasts went down with group and the availability of the breakfast room during the day was also useful. Very comfy beds. Nice to see the various friendly rescue animals / pets. Location is in a quiet street which is a few minutes walk from regular bus services to city centre / pubs / food. We plan to return.”

“A mid week mini break for my husband and I. I stayed in the Hideout several years previously and found the apartment to be what I expected it to be. Location in medieval part was ideal for exploring Hull. It is a short walk to the train station and there are several small independent cafes close by. Hull theatres and art gallery also within walking distance. A local Tesco at the end of the street is handy for supplies. The management of the Hideout is excellent. All questions answered and...

“Greeted by a lovely receptionist who gave lots of information about the stay. Nice modern room with aircon and a nice size shower. The bed was on the hard size for me. I can see why the room came with earplugs two packs would have been nice since I had to give them to my partner so I was left hearing others move about. Nice not to worry about parking. Will stay again.”

“Great stay, a last minute decision for a night in Hull. We had our own room with en-suite & we couldn’t fault it. Full use of kitchen on 2nd floor if needed. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Very convenient multi story car park opposite (cost us £9.50 to park overnight). Would definitely go back again 👍”

“Room was a good size and very clean,bed really comfatable,Tea and Coffee in good supply also could get extras from reception. We went to tge Clarenden Pub which is 2 mins walk from the hotel,really friendly and we had Sunday Roast there and it was to die for.If we go back to Hull we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again”

“All great. No staff bit had all the facilities I needed and the codes to open the doors and information regarding my room was all proceeded in an email. Together with a telephone number just in case. Really quiet and as a female travelling alone I felt fine. ”
