"The location is great and the staff were amazing. On the downside, no refrigerator in the room."

"The carpet in our room was not clean. It had a beer cap on the floor. There were small bits of paper at the door and beside the bed, the bathroom floor did not appear to be clean. We kept our socks on and walked on a mat. However, the biggest disappointment was your restaurant on the second floor, where we had lunch. The staff were unfriendly. The service was slow and no one enjoyed their meal. My wife's meal was cold, myself and one other person had the same dish and it was greasy and barely hot. The hostess was unfriendly and un accommodating. There were only two tables in the restaurant that had anyone sitting at them. We requested the table in front of the window. There was four of us, and she refused, saying that it was not set up after we were seated at another table, less than 10 minutes later, a couple came in and they seated them at the very table that we had requested. I think it's very poor service not to accommodate your customers when it is within reason."

Beach House Resort Hilton Head

"First off, the location is awesome, but unfortunately it was the best part of our stay. While the resort features two restaurants with decently priced food, the quality was just meh, and you can easily find much better places to eat nearby. My main issue, however, was the beach. If you are marketing yourself as a beach resort, guests should not have to pay an extra 300 dollars just to rent beach chairs. Additionally, the rooms are badly in need of an update. Our toilet overflowed to the top of the bowl every single day before finally draining, which was disgusting. On top of that, the hot water is unreliable, and if more than one person took a shower consecutively in the afternoon, the water turned freezing cold. Ultimately, this place is just okay. The location is great, but in my opinion, you can find much better options on the island for the same price."
