Inner Hebrides and Isle of Skye, Scotland hotel rooms at the Bay Hotels

"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cuillin Hills for a relaxing weekend away. The room was fantastic, the biggest room we’ve ever stayed in! It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a generous bath that made it feel extra luxurious. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. The location is also a big plus. It’s only about a 10-minute walk into town, with plenty of great restaurants close by. Our only small suggestion would be around breakfast. While the cooked breakfast menu was excellent and everything we ordered tasted delicious, we would have preferred the continental options to be set up as a buffet. Although you could order more than one item, we personally felt a bit awkward asking for more and would have enjoyed being able to choose freely. Overall, a beautiful hotel and a very enjoyable stay, we’d happily return."

"The rooms were spotless. First night Room 1 - The shower couldnt be used as the thermostat was not working and only scalding hot water was output. I was moved to another room for the 2nd night. First night I was on the 3rd floor and found the steps to my room were too steep for me to negotiate. It was unpleasant. 2nd room I was on 1st Floor. Molly? housekeeping staff was very friendly, and I appreciated her assistance."

"it’s a nice boutique hotel but the rooms are cozy and not too bad. Also, the hotel is very close to the airport but middle of nowhere. If you have to take a taxi service to Bowmore, which is the town center, for meals, It will cost 40 poundsround-trip. The hotel has a restaurant on site but sort of limited menu if you have any kind of meal restrictions or limitations. It is also close to a beach and has a golf course. The beach is beautiful and such a nice walk from the hotel."

"Stayed with family for 3 nights. We loved this place. Ample parking spaces. Restaurant and grocery stores nearby. Breakfast lounge was stocked with cereal, milk, utensils etc. Only suggestion I'd give would be to replace the cutleries twice a day instead of once. Since people do bring takeaway food and eat in the lounge during the evenings, the cutleries get used up a lot and very few is left out for when we go for breakfast in the mornings. This is probably why there were reviews that used dishes were still on the food trolley."
