“Overall, my stay at Hotel Isla del Sol in the Rosario Islands, Colombia was excellent. I truly enjoyed my time there—the setting is beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing, and it’s an ideal place to unwind. “The hotel and amenities are great after 3pm the day parties ends and the 6 rooms that are on the resort become quiet and you get to relax the rest of the evening. It is not a party location after 3pm.the staff is amazing and very attentive and welcoming.”

“The breathtaking beach and views blew me away! This is not a place for partying, more so for families and couples-maybe even a group of friends. This does not have a party scene at all. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to order so much because several reviews said the menu items were limited, we ordered calamari, robalo, pizza and seafood pasta. All dishes were filling and delicious!”

“I had a wonderful stay on the Rosario islands at this resort! I chose to stay here because of the experiences offered and was able to do the mangrove and community tour, snorkeling, a service at the spa, and the bioluminescent plankton tour. Both beaches at the resort were also amazing. I was surprised at how spacious it was and how it really did not feel crowded despite seeing how many people arrived on the boats. I highly recommend staying here overnight!”

“I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good.”

“The ac was good. They had power shut downs at least 2 times between 4 and 6 but we were enjoying the pool anyway. No big deal. The people were friendly and they even gave us free coffee. The scuba diving company on site was excellent Diving Planet. Make sure you go out at least once. They also allow lionfish hunting. I caught 21 with my friend. Highly recommend it for some R&R. ”

“After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.
