“This hotel was the nicest place I've ever stayed! upscale, modern furnishings and decor, beautiful! Clean! Within walking distance to restaurants, waterfront benches and swing, beautiful views. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again”

“Clean, comfortable and courteous staff. Great scenic stop, lunch and cocktails were excellent. Would highly recommend”

“Great location in Beaufort for walking in the downtown area where there are shops, restaurants and lots of history. The grounds are kept tidy and there is a shady courtyard with seating for outdoor relaxing. They offer a variety of unique room types depending on your needs. You can see the setup choices on their website. My room was spacious with high ceilings and a fan to circulate air. Clean and inviting. The cooling and heating unit was easy to operate and accurate. Complimentary breakfast...

“This property is in need of major refurbishment. It shows its age in several places. Our bathroom was especially dilapidated: faucet hung by a thread, shower hose leaked in several places. Hot water was irregular. The bathroom walls needed deep cleaning and repainting or rewallpapering. The 3rd floor hallway was being repaired from an apparent leak and then spayed or washed with bleach, the bleach smell was very strong. The staff was helpful and apparently busy doing repairs and...

“This is a perfect throw-back motel. Great staff, all of them characters, great restaurant, beautiful pier, close to the State Park. Just wonderful, we'll definitely visit again.”

“Very clean and comfortable, staff was wonderful. Everyone went overboard to make it a very pleasant stay.”

“We had a great stay! The room was newly renovated, and I believe we were either the first guests to stay in it or very close to it. Everything was extremely clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was great with easy, close access to the beach. 🌊 The hotel is still under construction, so not all of the hotel or amenities are available yet. Right now, it’s basically just the room, but that didn’t bother us for our stay. Once everything is finished, I think this is going to be an...

“I made the reservation through Expidia, paid on the website at 2:00 pm. When I arrived at the hotel at 7:00 pm I was told my reservation was cancelled because I did not check in by 4:00 pm. So I was charged online and then had no room when I arrived.”

“Das Hotel ist wunderhübsch mit einer außergewöhnlich schönen Umgebung. Wir sind leider erst sehr spät eingecheckt, so dass wir dies erst am nächsten Morgen bewundern konnten. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist bezaubernd. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das Badezimmer war das schönste auf unserer gesamten Reise an der Ostküste.”

“I did not like that we had to pay to park. We found the shower small and very hard to keep the water in. However the view from the room was everything. The balcony was amazing. The staff was friendly and did I mention the view.”

“It was fine”
