“Beautiful & cozy. Loved the sitting room facing the bay. Very close to city center & easy walking.”

“We had a great time for the night we stayed here. I was unaware that we had to schedule a tour of the distillery. The only complaint I really had was the shower was a little small, but that seems to be a theme around there. The bartender has a wealth of knowledge about gin, whiskey and probably everything else. Bonus for a hot breakfast being included. 10 of 10 would stay again.”

“Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening. Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon). Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.”

“Eines der besten Hotels, in welchem ich jemals war. Personal liest die Wünsche von den Augen ab,ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück fantastisch und unfassbar schön. Auch aus der Bibliothek und der Bar möchte man gar nicht mehr weg.”

“We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour. They encouraged us to explore the area right around the house. We even made friends with the cats and the cows. And their breakfast service was so very elegant and tasty.”
