“What a lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, beautiful. Our room had a view of the water. We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, plus some great recommendations about our travel in the area. It’s obvious that a lot of careful thought has been put into making this B&B a wonderful place. ”

“Had a nice 1 night stay in the Brander Lodge Hotel whilst enjoying the local area. Parts of the hotel could do with some tlc, but the breakfast room, dining room and bar area were lovely and the food was great. We liked the gardens with the river at the bottom. Bedroom clean and comfy. Great hotel for the price. We will go back.”

The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking.”
