"Adult only hotel means a love hotel, didn’t know upon booking but rocked up and realised. Wasn’t too bad for the price but would prefer if the room was cleaned daily and if staff made more effort to engage with guests. "

"We were excited to stay at such a beautiful home, but became increasingly disappointed as we found one thing after another missing or broken. The bathroom sink faucet wouldn't run. Neither tub was usable. The sauna light was burned out. The pillows with the futons didn't have pillow cases. The communication for the check-in procedure was contradictory, causing us to wait outside the gate for 20 minutes for someone who never showed up. And 30 minutes before we were supposed to check out, two...

"Close to Gion district, a bit noisy next to the main road, pillows could be better and the curtains need fixing. Very clean with comfortable beds otherwise - movie projector was great! "

"We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is walking distance from the train station which is convenient. You are able to rent a bike for free! So much fun. Great amenities. Staff are so kind, nice and very helpful. They also speak English. There is Lawson next to the hotel so you can easily walk over there to buy snacks and drinks. We enjoyed it and highly recommend it! "The staff welcomed us the minute we stepped into the lobby. Rather than standing at the reception desk, they sit with you at a table and you check-in. The onsen is nice and clean, our room was a good size, and the room amenities are replenished daily. I would stay here again. "
"If you have staid in an Apa before you probably know what you are in for, but overall solid value! Big bed, clean and compact. Bathroom is modular a bit small by western standards but still very usable and clean! No complaints here!"
"This is the second hotel of my stay in Japan, staff was friendly, able to accommodate with my request. Location is convenient, walking distance from the Kyoto station, and clean room"
"The rooms were immaculate and large. Very happy with how comfortable the beds were. The public bath (women) was a wonderful experience. The pubic baths were very clean and well-maintained. I used the washer/dyers twice without issue. Staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The hotel offers free umbrella use if you notice rain as you exit the main entrance/exit. In an amazing location near Kyoto Station but far enough away to avoid the crowds coming/going from the station. Highly recommend staying here! "
