Kauai, Hawaii hotel rooms at the Fairmont

"All restaurants were fabulous with very fresh food! Ahi tuna being one of many! The ladies at First Flight for morning coffee and amazing breakfast were always cheerful and friendly. Loved the oatmeal and papaya parfaits! Pool are is beautiful. Great location near LavaLava restaurant (walking distance) and cruiser bikes to take out. They are located on the amazing bike trail, just wish I could’ve rented a Norman hybrid bike somewhere!! Room was large except for small lanai. Maid service was not so great, didn’t switch out used glasses etc and knocked on our door several times for service when we were inside, overly insistent."

"The room was great for a long stay. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. The room was spacious and the lanai was large. Parking was easy. The landscaping on the grounds was fantastic. There were two large gardens, one tropical and the other had succulents. The beach area was good. The only downside was that our building was close to Poipu Road so there was some road noise. I used a green noise YouTube video at night and with that, I had no problem sleeping. I highly recommend this resort. "

"Truly authentic Hawaii. If you’re looking for a resort with a waterfall fountain, this is not your place. It is a place the locals go to sip cocktails and have a meal at the oceanfront Lava Lava Beach Club. Kauai Shotes is clean and the service is wonderful!"
