“Another great stay at this fine establishment. No suite this time but a nice room all the same. Got a great workout at the hotel gym followed by an invigorating shower. A full night's sleep was followed by a wonderful breakfast spread. The hotel is within distance of several dining options. Look forward to another stay here.”

“Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. “The location was excellent 👍 Very quiet and breakfast was delicious.”

“Very nice stay. Lovely king room. Hot rainfall shower. Breakfast lovely with plenty of choice. Spa was fresh and clean. Would stay again.”

“Although my stay was lovely, the hotel could do with upgrading their rooms. Everything in the room was basic where expectations were for a 4 star luxurious experience.”

They ran out of decaf coffee on the second morning of our stay and both coffee machines were not working. The breakfast buffet area is cramped, too small and poorly thought out. The room was too warm the first night and there was no opening window to let in fresh air. The shower was just a hand shower mounted on the wall, water pressure was...

“Beautiful period property, with parking but within walking distance of Winchester town. Our party had 2 bedrooms both of which were large and light. Each bedroom had a bathrooms very close to the rooms. Everything was marvellously clean. Best thing was Dotty makes a most marvellous and plentiful breakfast and is so kind and helpful, you'll be in good hands!”

“The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.”

“The hotel facilities are too old.”

“Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!”

“Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions”
