“Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks.”
“We wanted somewhere to stay the night ready to go to the airport early hours in the morning and this hotel was ideal. We was only there for about 12 hours, just somewhere to eat and rest our heads until we had to set off to the airport around 4am. I wish we had longer here. Everything about the hotel was perfect I definitely will be booking again and stay for a few days. ”

“Stayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. I'm sure the chef would have come up with something suitable but we wanted to explore other eating options locally anyway.

“My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Shrigley hall and it was the perfect getaway for us. The hotel is absolutely stunning, outside and in. We also bought access to the spa (which is separate to booking the hotel room), and that was a great experience for us as we enjoyed the various pools, hot tubs, steam rooms etc. and the bar that was attached to it.”
